Buondì!
Don't know how well you can tell from this picture but my left eye is red and swollen in the corner and is itching like crazy. This is extremely annoying.
Non so quanto si veda dalla foto ma il mio occhio sinistro è rosso e gonfio nell'angolino e mi prude un casino. La cosa è notevolmente fastidiosa.
Buuuut, talking about the really important stuff...my parents just come back from their vacation in South America and they brought me some new yarn from Peru!
Ma passiamo alle cose veramente importanti...i miei son appena tornati dalle loro vacanze in Sud America e mi han portato della lana nuova dal Perù!
This is pure baby alpaca in a beautiful shade of blue. It is the softest thing I have ever felt, it's incredible. There's enough to make a sweater for myself in it but I still don't have any ideas, and I'm not going to rush it, this yarn deserves to be used for something that is thoroughly thought through (ha! Alliteration).
Questa è pura baby alpaca in una tonalità di blu molto bella. é la cosa più morbida che io abbia mai toccato, pazzesca. Ce n'è abbastanza per farmici una maglia ma non ho ancora idee e voglio pensarci bene, questa lana merita di essere usata per qualcosa di ben ponderato.
And this wool they bought at the market in Chincero and they didn't know what kind of wool it is, only that it was handspun. I already made two balls out of it cause I'm terrified of it getting all tangled up. It feels very raw, might be a little itchy, but I want to make myself an infinity scarf and a hat out this, hope there is enough, I love the color!
Questa lana qui invece me l'hanno presa al mercato di Chincero e non sanno che tipo di lana sia, solo che è filata a mano. Ne ho già fatto due gomitoli perchè ho il terrore che si ingarbugli tutta. é molto grezza, forse pizzicherà un po', ma voglio farmici una sciarpa a tubo e un cappellino, spero basti, il colore è stupendo!
