Handknit purses are not easy. Technically they can be very easy to make but it's not easy to find some one would actually use...most patterns you find around the web look like they would be fun to make but the final product looks like something you would end up using very little or only using out of respect for your hard work. I have made a few purses myself but have never sold any and this only proves my point.

Non intendo tecnicamente, da quel punto di vista possono essere facilissime, intendo dire che non è facile trovare borse di maglia che uno userebbe effettivamente. La maggior parte dei modelli che si trovano online hanno l'aria di essere veloci e divertenti da fare ma il prodotto finale spesso è una di quelle cose che uno finirebbe per non usare mai, o per usare solo perchè ci si è presi la briga di farle. Ho fatto un paio di borse di maglia ma non me ne hanno mai comprata una, e questo dimostra ulteriormente la mia teoria.

...questo perchè la maggior parte delle volte sembrano non essere rivestite...una volta rivestite internamente le borse a maglia diventano decisamente più resistenti e si deformano molto meno quando vengono riempite. Questo è un modello che ho trovato che è rivestito non solo dentro ma anche sui manici il che è un'ottima idea visto che tendono ad allungarsi e deformarsi col tempo...

Another great idea I want to try sooner or later is that of using cardboard or plastic to create a structure inside the bag to make it more resistant and give it a well defined shape (plastic seems like a better idea because cardboard + rain = big mess):
Un'altra ottima idea che voglio provare prima o poi è quella di usare del cartone o dei fogli di plastica rigidi per creare una struttura interna per rendere la borsa più resistente e darle una forma più definita (la plastica mi sembra un'idea migliore visto che cartone + pioggia = borsa spappolata):
